PRO-LIFE NEWS OCTOBER 09 ; THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER
On Saturday,October 17 the subsequent Diocesan Crusade for the Unborn babes took place.In the homily at St.Michael’s church in Brooklyn,bp Guy Sansaricq emphasize that “If BAD begins to dominate in our community,neighborhood,WE CANNOT REMAIN SILENT “.We can bear witness to this with our PRAYERFUL PRESENCE in places such as ABORTION MILLS,in presence of those who are listening,who are watching us.With the increased infiltration of the culture death it is not enough to prayquietly in our own homes or even in church.We must give PUBLIC WITNESS OF OUR FAITH,OUR CONVICTIONS(bishop T.Daily)
On September 11,James Poillon was killed in the state of Massachusetts,while he carried poster of a child torn from its mother’s womb in protest of this inhumane law.With his active stance he irritated a fellow citizen of his hometown.They felt that something was not right that somehow they are missing out on something where they should be like Him...!Today,some people pound their chests,feeling,that if they had joined Him…that just maybe this would not have happened.THE HEARD IS A LONELY HUNTER !!! This is the first Sacrifice,Breach in the lines of Pro-Life in the Unites States !
As stated it,fr Josef Szpilski ,chaplain of the our Pro-Life Group,in his last Sunday serman, quoting the Polish poet Norwid, "…inside us are living midgets. " .and prior to that fr Marek “our parish is immersed in lethargy,thereby dying…! We are happy with the little things...We are wasting away our potential(Gospel reading about Talents)
When I myself asked ( Mass about the Sanctity of Life ),who reads the “PRO-LIFE NEWS” in the ”Patron” two people raised their hands !!! Thus,we close ourselves off and turn our backs on this SILENT CRY !!! This situation reminds us of the Massachusetts occurrence.The Pro-Life Group is isolated,abandoned and what about those AROUND THEM,THE OTHERS !!! True,living faith fills us with energy,confidence to act;giving joy,peace,a feeling of fulfillment,accomplishment..! Don’t wait any longer,join us ! Tomorrow may be too late !Do we even have some kind of tomorrow ?
